August 18th- Final Class Harvest- part of an Introduction to Medicinal Plants and their Uses
Service Description
Class 5- Final Class time to enjoy the bounty of the harvest! This week we will learn to make oxymels, a powerful healing apple cider vinegar tonic. You will use the harvest of carrots, beets and nettle with some other herbs to make a tonic for overall health. This tonic strengthens the heart and provides all the nutrients needed to boost your immune system with the changing of the seasons. We will also make a milk thistle oxymel for the gallbladder and liver. This is your opportunity to make your own personal tonic as well. Weather permitting we will also do some seeds saving to get you started on next year's garden. Part of the Basic Wildcrafting Class Series. These biweekly Beginner's classes focus on learning to identify medicinal plants and how to apply them in healing.
