Class 3 of Basic Wildcrafting Program

Service Description

Class 3- Herbal First Aid identifying plants using signatures, garden harvest We will explore the healing power of herbs. Off into the gardens to collect yarrow, plantain, arnica and cramp bark to make your very own herbal first aid kit. You will learn how to make a liniment, salve and tincture using your herb harvest. Part of the Basic Wildcrafting Class Series. These biweekly Beginner's classes focus on learning to identify medicinal plants and how to apply them in healing. Students will learn how to grow herbs in their own garden, how to identify herbs in the wild, and how to craft their own easy to use herbal remedies. We will make tinctures, salves, infused oils, infused honey, creams, teas, and oxymels. Register for all the classes or just the ones that interest you most! $100 per Class- includes the herbals you make and all materials provided. Take home what you make! Classes run from May 26th - August 18, 2025, every other Monday evening from 5:30pm – 9:30pm Drop Ins Welcome or Register Online Now! Educational Funding may be available, contact your local First Nation, or the Yukon Hospital corp. to see if you qualify.
